Canada Surrogacy Consultants was founded by Andre, this Canada Surrogacy consultants for Intended Parents from Australia looking at fulfilling their family-building dreams through surrogacy in Canada. Andre and his husband, Cameron, are fathers to their son, Tyler, born via surrogacy in Canada in 2019.
When the pair started their journey, they had no assistance or guidance whatsoever and spent most of their time researching online. What’s more, with no one available to answer important questions, they were forced to navigate obstacles on their own. This caused immense emotional stress and left them with a feeling of going nowhere fast.
After the surrogacy journey was finally completed in 2019, Andre found himself in a position to speak to and advise fellow Intended Parents in Australia who wanted to start their own journeys.
Not too long after, he received an opportunity to work with a Canadian company that utilised the concierge service model, which saw him managing over 200 clients across Australia, New Zealand, the USA and various parts of Asia. In his role, Andre derived great satisfaction and happiness from helping Intended Parents navigate their Canadian surrogacy journeys with more confidence.
As time passed, he realised there are problems with this seemingly helpful system. He realised that Intended Parents were paying an extremely high price for services and many of the perks promised to them were biased or not delivered in full. Referrals to clients were also affected by any kerfuffle amongst the providers within the industry, and the focus started to drift away from Intended Parents – leading them to make poor decisions and get stuck in their journeys. This is an Intended Parents’ nightmare.
Motivated to do better and with an awareness that the emotional state of Intended Parents could be exploited by some, Andre started Canada Surrogacy Consultants.
With many years of personal and professional experience in the Canadian surrogacy industry, Andre understands the surrogacy industry intimately. He believes that future parents will have a smoother, more confident journey provided they are equipped with all the necessary information from the beginning, and also ensure that they are the true captains of their journey.
